About Luk House

Tucked away in the charming village of Garður, Luk House invites you to step back in time. This traditional Icelandic home, built in 1912, carries over a century of stories within its wooden walls. Just a short stroll (200 m) from the wild Atlantic coastline, you can breathe in the crisp ocean air and feel the calm of Icelandic nature all around you.

On quiet evenings, watch the northern lights dance across the sky, or wake up early to the golden glow of the sunrise over the sea. Here, the rhythm of life slows down – perfect for an intimate getaway, where history and nature meet.

And the best part? You’re only 15 minutes away from Keflavik Airport – close enough for convenience, yet far enough to feel worlds apart.

The 100m² house consists of a ground floor and a first floor. The ground floor comprises a living room, dining room, kitchen, and bathroom. The first floor has three bedrooms, accessed via a steep staircase. The kitchen is fully equipped, and a crib and air mattress can be added.
